RMI Remote Console (Java)

To launch the Remote Console (Java) via the Remote Management Interface you need to download and run the JNLP (Java Network Launching Protocol) file. The filename is called jviewer.jnlp on Intel and launch.jnlp on Supermicro boards, respectively.

Note: There are known issues with downloading the JNLP file for Intel boards using Google Chrome. If you are experiencing downloading issues, try another browser, for example, Mozilla Firefox.

In order to run the JNLP file, you need to install the Java Web Start software.

Java Web Start is included in the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) package.

Please see the following for instructions on installing Java Runtime Environment.
