{"id":13797,"date":"2016-05-05T12:23:29","date_gmt":"2016-05-05T10:23:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hetzner.co.za\/help-centre\/?p=13797"},"modified":"2025-03-25T11:25:32","modified_gmt":"2025-03-25T09:25:32","slug":"ssl","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/xneelo.co.za\/help-centre\/email\/ssl\/","title":{"rendered":"Enable SSL\/TLS for email"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>SSL\/TLS<\/strong>\u00a0encrypts messages over the connection between your mail client and the mail server, allowing you to\u00a0<strong>securely send and receive emails<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>All xneelo-hosted accounts have access to a free Let&#8217;s Encrypt <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SSL\/TLS<\/span> certificate, which can be used to secure both your email and your website.<\/p>\n<p>Note that both email and website must be hosted with xneelo in order to make use of this <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SSL\/TLS<\/span> certificate for email.<\/p>\n<h2>Set up Email<\/h2>\n<p>All mail clients (e.g. Outlook, Thunderbird, Mac Mail) have the option to use <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SSL\/TLS<\/span>.
