If you’re on a Web Hosting package or Volume Plan<\/strong>, this article explains how we calculate charges when your disk space usage exceeds the allocated quota.<\/span><\/p>\n

Web Hosting disk space over-usage<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Disk over-usage is charged at R20 per GB<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Please see the following example:<\/span><\/p>\n

The Basic hosting package provides 15 GB of storage space, but the package is using 19 GB of disk space in total, which is 4 GB of over-usage.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

How it\u2019s calculated:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

If your disk usage regularly exceeds your current package allocation, it would be advisable to <\/span>upgrade<\/span><\/a> your hosting package rather than continue to pay disk over-usage charges.<\/span><\/p>\n

Volume Plan disk space over-usage<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

The cost of the Volume Plan will increase depending on the overall amount of disk usage you require. The monthly cost of the Volume Plan will be as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Should you exceed 1100 GB<\/strong> per month, disk overusage will be charged at R10 per GB<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Please note that all disk usage is calculated using the base-2 conversion method. (1 GB = 1024 MB)<\/b><\/p>\n
