To do this:<\/p>\n<ol class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li3\">Set up <a href=\"https:\/\/xneelo.co.za\/help-centre\/email\/pop-vs-imap\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">IMAP<\/a> for mail on your server.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li3\">Ensure that you have a <strong>Sent<\/strong> folder on the server:\n<ul>\n<li class=\"li3\">Check in <a href=\"https:\/\/xneelo.co.za\/help-centre\/email\/access-webmail\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Webmail<\/a> if a <strong>Sent<\/strong> items folder exists.\n<ul>\n<li class=\"li3\">If not,\u00a0click on the <strong>settings\/cog icon<\/strong>, select\u00a0<strong>Folders<\/strong>, then tick <strong>Sent<\/strong> to subscribe.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li3\">If there is <strong>no<\/strong> Sent folder, then send a quick test email from Webmail. This will generate\u00a0a <strong>Sent<\/strong> items folder that Outlook and Mac mail, etc. can reference.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"li3\">Configure the mail applications to recognise the <strong>Sent<\/strong> folder so that all your sent mails are directed to that folder.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p class=\"p3\">Usually, the configuration happens automatically when you set up\u00a0your email address in\u00a0the mail programme, creating a folder labelled <strong>Sent Messages<\/strong>. In some cases, however, the email sync programme may default to saving the sent mails <strong>locally on your computer<\/strong> instead of saving them on the server.
