In order to understand the path a message took to reach its destination and the time taken for delivery, it is helpful to view the headers <\/b>of the email message. Follow these steps to assist you to locate the headers.<\/p>\n

If you want to inform us of spam mail that you are receiving, it is helpful to copy this information into a mail. (highlight all the header text, then press Ctrl+C to copy and Ctrl+V to paste\/ Cmd on a Mac).<\/p>\n

Webmail:<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Browse to the Webmail login page<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. Enter your email address<\/b> and email password<\/b>.<\/li>\n
  3. Select the required email<\/li>\n
  4. Click on \u201cHeaders\u201d below the \u201cFrom\u201d field<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. A pop-up containing the full email header will appear<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Outlook<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Click on the Outlook icon to open this mail client.<\/li>\n
    2. Double click on the email for which you would like to view the headers. The message will open in a new window.<\/li>\n
    3. Select File<\/strong>\u00a0then Info<\/strong><\/li>\n
    4. Select Properties<\/strong><\/li>\n
    5. The message headers will show in the Internet headers<\/strong> box.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Outlook (2007):<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

      1. Click on the Outlook icon to open this mail client.<\/li>\n
      2. From the top menu select the Message<\/strong> tab, then Options<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
      3. Select the Dialog Box Launcher<\/strong>\u00a0icon image.<\/li>\n
      4. In the Message Options<\/strong>, the message headers will show in the Internet headers<\/strong> box.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        \u200b<\/strong><\/u>Other Outlook versions:<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n

        1. Click on the Outlook icon to open this mail client.<\/li>\n
        2. Select and open the relevant email.<\/li>\n

          2. Select the relevant email by right-clicking.<\/li>\n
