We allocate a range of IP addresses (known as a subnet) to customers from the range (known as a supernet) that we have.<\/p>\n
A subnet is 1, 2, 4, 8, 16 (all powers of 2) IPs.By default, we allocate 8 IP addresses per Self-Managed Server, of which 5 are usable.<\/p>\n
Subnets are referred to in terms of the part of a class C network (44.2.147.x) that they use.<\/p>\n
