Telnet is a legacy protocol that transmits data, including login credentials, without encryption. For security reasons, Telnet is no longer supported on xneelo servers.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

We recommend using <\/span>SSH on port 2222<\/span><\/a>, which is the preferred secure method to access servers via Shell. If you have been using PuTTy and have your default access set to \u2018Telnet\u2019, please change this to \u2018SSH\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\r\n
