All incoming emails are passed through Zen Spamhaus blocklists before they reach the SpamAssassin filtering. Any emails sent from an IP address that\u2019s been blacklisted on Spamhaus will be rejected before arriving on our hosting servers.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

The <\/span>Spam Filter tool <\/b>in the xneelo Control Panel classifies spam messages before they even reach your inbox.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

All incoming emails are automatically scanned against defined spam criteria<\/strong>.<\/span> The<\/span> Spam Filter is built around a set of spam rules, carefully developed to provide you protection from spam while reducing the number of valid email messages that may be categorised as spam in error, otherwise known as \u2018False Positives\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

How does it work?<\/b><\/h3>\r\n

Incoming emails are evaluated against these spam rules and are assigned a ‘spam score’<\/strong>. This score determines whether the message will be classified as spam. Our standard filtering threshold is set at 5, meaning any message with a score of 5 or more are classified as spam and sent to the spambucket<\/a>. If you are using a POP email account, to access your spambucket, you’ll need to log into Webmail<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

If you find that emails from specific addresses are incorrectly being marked as spam<\/strong>, you can whitelist<\/a> this address to ensure it bypasses the spam filter.
