This process is referred to as an Internal Account transfer.<\/p>\n<p>There are a few\u00a0aspects to be considered with such a transfer:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Is only the domain being transferred?\n<ul>\n<li>Should the domain registrant details be updated to reflect the correct &#8220;owner&#8221;?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Is the web content being transferred together with the domain?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Gaining party<\/h2>\n<p>If you are the gaining party i.e. the domain is being transferred to you, refer to the <a href=\"https:\/\/xneelo.co.za\/help-centre\/domains\/gp-internal-account-transfers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Internal Account Transfer guide<\/a> for details on registering an account with us before requesting the transfer.<\/p>\n<h2>Losing party<\/h2>\n<p>If you are the losing party i.e. the domain will be transferred away from your administration to another customer, the process is initiated by that customer. Once they have created their own account with us (new customers) and initiated the transfer, then you will receive an<strong> internal transfer request<\/strong>. Under <a title=\"http:\/\/www.icann.org\/en\/resources\/registrars\/registrant-rights-responsibilities?utm_medium=ET_email&amp;utm_content=dns-admin%40xneelo.co.za&amp;utm_campaign=ICANN%20Registrants%20Rights%20and%20Responsibilities%20Document&amp;utm_source=ICANN%20Registrants%20Rights%20and%20Responsibilities%20Document\" href=\"http:\/\/www.icann.org\/en\/resources\/registrars\/registrant-rights-responsibilities?utm_medium=ET_email&amp;utm_content=dns-admin%40xneelo.co.za&amp;utm_campaign=ICANN%20Registrants%20Rights%20and%20Responsibilities%20Document&amp;utm_source=ICANN%20Registrants%20Rights%20and%20Responsibilities%20Document\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ICANN<\/a> policy you may not operate in such a way that the registrant is locked-in, or such that their actions could make the registrant reasonably believe that they are locked-in.<\/p>\n<h2>Optional: Web content transfer<\/h2>\n<p>The administrator is\u00a0<b>entitled to decline the transfer of web content.\u00a0<\/b>Should web content be declined, we will delete it without keeping a backup copy.
