This means that any application attempting to send email over Port 25 will fail to connect.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you need to send email from your instance, you can do so using alternative, secure methods.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Why port 25 is blocked\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Blocking Port 25 is an industry standard to prevent spam and abuse. This also protects our xneelo Cloud IP addresses from being blacklisted, which would affect all customers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For this reason, Port 25 remains<strong> permanently blocked<\/strong> and <\/span><b>cannot be unblocked<\/b> <b>on request<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Secure email delivery methods<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can still send and receive email in the following ways:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Using xneelo\u2019s hosting mail servers (if you have hosting\/email services with us)\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Using third-party email providers.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can still send email from your instance using secure, authenticated SMTP services.
