Select the <b>Outgoing Server<\/b> tab<\/p>\n<p>8. Ensure that the <b>My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication<\/b> checkbox is ticked<\/p>\n<p>9. Select the <b>Advanced<\/b> tab<\/p>\n<p>11. Ensure that your settings look like the settings shown in this screenshot. In particular, check that<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The<b> Incoming server<\/b> port is 995 for POP or 993 for IMAP<\/li>\n<li>The <b>outgoing server<\/b> (SMTP) port is set to 465<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ticked<\/strong>: This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>12.
