It is good practice to change your email password regularly to prevent unauthorised access to your information.<\/p>\n

Forgotten<\/a> mail passwords can’t be recovered, however, they can be reset in konsoleH (option 1 below).<\/p>\n

Use a phrase you can easily remember<\/strong>, but which would be difficult for someone else to guess. We suggest using phrases such as 1-LOVE-my-dog<\/em><\/strong> which are highly secure, according to strength testing sites such as How Strong is my Password<\/a>. It includes a number, lower and upper case letters and symbols.<\/p>\n

Option 1 \u2013 for administrators<\/h2>\n

Reset or Change your email password via konsoleH<\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. Browse<\/strong> to konsoleH<\/a><\/strong> and log in <\/strong>at Admin level<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. Select or search for the applicable domain<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Select Mail<\/strong>\u00a0in the left-hand menu<\/li>\n
  4. Select Manage Accounts\u00a0\"\"<\/strong><\/li>\n
  5. The <\/span>Manage Accounts <\/b>page displays all mailboxes and aliases for your domain.<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Select <\/span>Edit<\/b> to the right of the mailbox requiring a password reset.<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. Enter your new password in the <\/span>Password <\/b>field and repeat your password in the <\/span>Verify Password<\/b> field. A strong password of at least 11 characters, at least one numeric character, and at least one uppercase letter is needed. <\/span><\/li>\n
  8. Select <\/span>Save<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Option 2 \u2013 for Webmail users<\/h2>\n

    Reset or Change your email password in Webmail<\/h3>\n

    Note: you will need to know the current password to change it here. If you have forgotten your password, you will need to log in via Option 1 above or contact your mail administrator to make the change for you.<\/p>\n

    1. Browse to Webmail<\/a><\/li>\n
    2. Log in<\/strong> with your:
      \nFull email address, e.g. me@my-domain.co.za and
      \nEmail password (remember, passwords are case-sensitive)<\/li>\n
    3. Select Settings<\/strong> from the left-hand menu.<\/span><\/li>\n
    4. Select Manage Mailbox<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n
    5. Log in with your full email address and mailbox password.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n
    6. Click the Change password<\/strong> button.<\/span>

    7. \u00a0Enter <\/strong>and verify<\/strong> your new password\"\"<\/li>\n
    8. \u00a0Click Update Mailbox<\/strong> at the bottom of the page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      If you make use of an email program to access your email, it is important that you update your email program <\/a>with your new password.<\/p>\n
