Enable SMTP Authentication<\/h2>\n

The same username and password used to retrieve your mail<\/strong>, from the mailserver on which your domain is setup, will apply to outgoing email authentication.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll receive a \u2018550 relay not permitted\u2019 error message<\/strong>, through your email client, when authentication with our mail server failed. This is an indication that you are not authenticating with the Simple Mail Transport Protocol (SMTP) server<\/strong> and the SMTP server is therefore rejecting your request to send (relay) mail through it.<\/p>\n

  2. Follow the settings to access the Outgoing SMTP server<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Choose the option to require authentication using a password<\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. Use the same user name and password<\/strong> for both the incoming and outgoing servers.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
