As of February 2022, we will be introducing a price adjustment to our Managed Server plans as well as increasing our traffic quotas by up to 500%, a substantial increase to current quotas.
Significant traffic quota increase
Peak business performance needs a powerful server as its foundation. To give your team the flexibility and scalability they need to operate at optimal, we will be increasing our traffic quotas for our Managed Servers (see table below).
These new quotas allow for increased data transfers to your server environment and will significantly lower traffic over-usage charges going forward.
Price increase for Managed servers
Since 2016, we have not updated the prices of our Managed Server plans. Historically, we have absorbed the costs of fluctuating exchange rates and the associated costs of maintaining and upgrading our server infrastructure. With costs continuing to fluctuate and our new increase in traffic quotas, we have had to adjust our prices. As a result, from February 2022, there will be a 15% price increase to our Managed Server plan coinciding with our increased traffic quotas.
The table below outlines our new pricing and traffic quota increases that will take effect in February 2022:
Product | Current setup fee |
New setup fee |
Current Price |
New Price |
Current Traffic Quota |
New Traffic Quota |
Managed | R595 | R685 | R1 295 | R1 490 | 500 GB | 2 TB |
