We can confirm that a SQL injection vulnerability was identified within konsoleH, which has been corrected.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>We shut down access to konsoleH during the course of the day while investigations proceeded .<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While <strong>konsoleH Admin passwords<\/strong> have not been compromised, we have proactively updated all <strong>FTP passwords<\/strong>, which were exposed. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is imperative that customers\u00a0<\/span><b>update all passwords<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> associated with your Hetzner account <\/span><b>immediately<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, including konsoleH admin passwords.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>What information was exposed?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The following details have been exposed:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Customer details (name, address, ID number (where applicable), telephone numbers and email addresses)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Domain names<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">FTP passwords<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bank account details (cheque\/savings). No credit card details are stored.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>What do you need to do?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Customers should update the following passwords immediately:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All\u00a0<strong>database access<\/strong> passwords (Find out how to do this <a href=\"https:\/\/xneelo.co.za\/help-centre\/website\/how-do-i-change-my-mysql-database-passwords\/\">here<\/a>). \u00a0Note, you will need to update your web application database connection strings.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While we have updated all <\/span><b>FTP<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> passwords, customers will need to reset this password to gain access \u00a0(Find out how to do this <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/xneelo.co.za\/help-centre\/website\/how-do-i-change-my-ftp-password\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">here<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">)<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you have made use of an additional FTP user, please manually update these passwords via konsoleH<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All <\/span><b>email<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> passwords that\u00a0have not been updated recently.
