Founded in 1972, Brooks &amp; Michaels began as a partnership between two estate agents: Michael Brooks and Stanley Michaels: hence the name.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Long-standing tradition<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWe\u2019re really proud of our long-standing tradition in the property market,\u201d explains director Gregory Brooks. \u201cWe\u2019re a wholly South African family business &#8211; my dad was one of the founders &#8211; and we dedicate ourselves to giving our clients the best possible service. We think we have a winning combination of great service with expert knowledge from years of experience.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Understanding the internet<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Although Brooks &amp; Michaels formally registered in 1972, they\u2019ve been online since 1995 \uff0d for 23 years. Their website showcases all the various properties for sale and to rent, and introduces their agents and their company ethos. So how did they start their website all those many years ago? \u201cWe registered our domain name in 1998 and signed up with xneelo in 1999\u2026 By fax!<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"quotable\" style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cOur reputation is everything. Our marketing policy is very simple: to give the best possible service to our clients.
