Craig Sander and Arno Liebenberg, co-founders of eCubator, describe themselves as \u201ca couple of guys that enjoy what we do and take pride in the work we deliver and the outcomes for our customers.\u201d But don\u2019t let that casual introduction fool you – what they\u2019re doing is deeply impactful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201ceCubator officially started in August 2019,\u201d explains Craig. \u201cIn 2018, we were running an e-commerce business and cutting costs wherever we could to fight the recession. We chose not to have a monthly retainer for web development and thereby gave up web maintenance. Maybe not our best idea! After a few months the wheels came off the bus on our site and we were chasing developers to help us fix the problem.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Technical skills plus experience<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

From this point, they started learning in-house the skills to maintain and develop their e-commerce store. \u201cBefore we knew it, we had redeveloped our online store,\u201d says Craig. \u201cOne agency quoted us six figures to do this development – we did it in two weeks!\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Craig and Arno realised that they had the technical skills but their strongest advantage was actually running an online store for nearly a decade. \u201cWe understand all the facets and challenges of an e-commerce business,\u201d explains Craig. \u201cOur decade of owning and running an e-commerce business, combined with our passion to help people grow their business, is a unique recipe.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
