Why do I need to pay before registering a domain name?

What’s new?
You’ll now be asked to complete payment before we register your domain via the xneelo Control Panel. This small change adds an extra layer of security and helps prevent fraudulent activity or unauthorised registrations on your account.
Why the change?
We’ve introduced upfront payment for standalone domain registrations to enhance security and protect your account from misuse or fraud. This change helps ensure only authorised standalone domain purchases are processed, allowing us to prevent fraudulent activity and continue delivering reliable, high-quality service to all our customers.
Payment for domain registrations:
- Card payment is required upfront, regardless of whether you are on a Cash or Debit Order payment method.
- You will be directed to a secure payment gateway to complete the transaction using a debit or credit card payment.
- EFT or debit order is not accepted for the initial domain registration payment.
Please note that this change only applies to the initial domain registration and will not affect your domain renewals.
Your account’s payment method (Cash or Debit Order) will remain the same.
