Where tradition meets the present

20 years ago, the first PRIMI sit-down restaurant opened in the V&A Waterfront. That restaurant is still trading as a flagship store, joined by more than 20 restaurant and franchise stores. “PRIMI is a space where everyone is welcome,” explains Sean Holmes, Director of PRIMI World. “We’re inspired by Italian tradition but influenced by the cosmopolitan present,” he says. The restaurant offers something for everyone, with traditional, gourmet and comfort food options. “And all our menu items are freshly prepared from scratch, using only the finest sourced ingredients,” he adds.

Collective effort

What makes PRIMI different to other restaurants is their focus on people – both their customers and their staff. “In order to deliver a unique restaurant experience and superior offering, it takes the collective effort from a large team,” says Sean. “Everyone is fully committed to the task at hand and the final measure is the experience received at table level.”

The PRIMI team have learnt that restauranteering is a 24 hour, 7 days a week, 365 days a year task. Supporting them in their task is their website – as constantly available as they are.
