Code Saloon offers webinar workshops that empower and provide people with a better understanding of the digital world. “We offer full-scale digital webinar workshops at an introductory level,” explains Deborah Butler, the founder and trainer of Code Saloon. “This means that anyone – whether they’re a student, a new business owner, a developer or a CEO – can take these workshops. We’re purely digital: from WordPress sites to e-commerce sites on Shopify, learning a coding language, SEO, analytics or what it takes to build an app for your business – we teach it all.”
WordPress training for all
Deborah started Code Saloon in 2016, after it became clear that many of her clients weren’t comfortable managing their WordPress websites once she’d finished designing and building them. “I looked into WordPress training in Cape Town and South Africa, and saw that there really wasn’t much to choose from, and the training that did exist was extremely expensive. And so I began Code Saloon with the Beginners WordPress Workshop.”
Code Saloon sets itself apart by being the only company in South Africa to provide these kinds of workshops as webinars. “We want to make sure that this information is easily accessible and affordable, without compromising on the quality of the content,” Deborah says.
A sandbox environment
The Code Saloon website acts as their shopfront. “You get a real sense of what Code Saloon is all about,” explains Deborah. “Within minutes you can see when our next webinars are and how to contact us.” Following through on the promises of the website is made possible with a Dedicated Managed Server from xneelo. “I’m able to offer my attendees a sandbox environment to use what they’ve learnt in the webinars for a limited time,” explains Deborah.
