How to update your nameservers
Your domain’s nameservers can be updated easily and conveniently via the xneelo Control Panel.
Note: Updating the nameservers for your domain away from xneelo means that we will have no control over relevant aspects of your website or email and we recommend using DNS pointing or redirects (where applicable) instead.
Before performing a nameserver update, ensure that the nameservers have been set up/configured correctly by the new hosting provider.
Follow the steps below to update your nameservers:

Steps for all domains
You can follow the steps below whether you have a domain registration or if your domain has a hosting package associated with it.

Select Domains from the side menu.

Search for or select the specific domain name.

Under DNS/Nameservers, select Change nameservers.

Select Use custom nameservers to add your provider’s nameservers, or Use xneelo nameservers if you would like to switch to xneelo nameservers.

Add your custom nameservers in the field provided. If you will be using xneelo’s nameservers, these will be added automatically.

Select Continue.

Review your changes and click Save changes.

Steps for Web Hosting
You can follow the steps below if your domain is associated with any Web Hosting package.

Select a Product (e.g. Web Hosting or Managed Servers) from the side menu.

Search for and select the domain name.

Under Domain tools, select Nameservers.

Select Use custom nameservers to add your provider’s nameservers, or Use xneelo nameservers if you would like to switch to xneelo nameservers.

Add your custom nameservers in the field provided. If you will be using xneelo’s nameservers, these will be added automatically.

Select Continue.

Review your changes and click Save changes.
What happens next
Changes made to nameservers do not propagate throughout the internet immediately, as all server caches first need to expire and refresh. Propagation typically takes 24 to 48 hours.
