How to make your web server accessible to the public internet when protected by Cloudbric WAF

By enabling your web server to accept traffic directly from the public internet and bypassing Server access restriction, you allow all incoming requests to reach your server without any prior security inspection, permitting users and attackers alike to connect directly to your origin.

Any traffic that attempts to connect directly to your server’s IP address will be allowed through unfiltered.

Steps

  • 1
Log in to the xneelo Control Panel.
  • 2
Select a Product (e.g. Web Hosting) from the side menu.
  • 3
Select or search for the domain name.
  • 4
Under Security, click the arrow next to Cloudbric WAF.
  • 5
Under Server access restriction, click the toggle to OFF.
Assist Note

We do not recommend disabling Server access restriction as this can expose your origin server to attacks and reduce the effectiveness of the protections provided by Cloudbric. We recommend keeping Server access restriction enabled whenever possible.
