0x800CCC17 - User cancelled operation

This error may occur if the sending and/or receiving operation has been cancelled.

Follow the steps below to attempt to resolve the error:

  1. Try restarting your computer.
  2. If this problem continues, the file that records which emails you have downloaded may be corrupt. Exit Outlook Express, search for the file ‘pop3uid.dbx’ and rename it to ‘pop3uid.bak’. Reopen Outlook Express and try again. Kindly note: Should you be using Microsoft Outlook, you should be searching for the file ‘outbox.pst’ and rename it to ‘outbox.bak’ instead.
