How do I disable my cache plugins?
For optimal performance, we recommend that you disable any existing cache plugins before adding Web Accelerator Cache.
Follow the steps below to disable cache plugins on your WordPress website.
Steps
-
1Log in to your WordPress admin panel.
-
2Go to Plugins > Installed Plugins.
-
3Find the cache plugin (e.g. WP Super Cache, W3 Total Cache, LiteSpeed Cache, etc.).
-
4Click Deactivate to disable it.
-
5If necessary, click Delete to remove it completely.
Installing a recommended Varnish Cache plugin can optimise cache management and improve integration with Web Accelerator Cache.
