For twenty years, Hetzner SA has had a single focus: to be Trusted in Hosting. We’ve developed the infrastructure, the customer service and the necessary tools to support our customers as they build their websites – and their businesses.
We are now xneelo.
We’re still the same team, just with a new look and space to grow. We’re excited about our ongoing journey and our daily endeavour to remain your trusted partner on your online journey.
The reason we’ve changed our name
We already have an office in Canada and intend to launch into new markets in the future. Our international expansion means we need to change our name to avoid brand confusion with Hetzner Online, a separate company to Hetzner SA.
Why xneelo?
We chose the name xneelo (pronounced ex-nee-lo) with care: inspired by a Latin phrase that translates into the ability to ‘create something out of nothing’. We believe that our new name speaks to the resourcefulness, ingenuity and industrious spirit of our customers – and of our team.
All the parts that have made Hetzner SA what it is won’t change. Our company values, and our experienced leadership team who have been with us for many years remain the same. They are now xneelo’s values and leadership team. Our operational strategy remains unchanged.
More customer value
We’ve expanded our product range to offer more value-driven products to our customers, including the expansion of our Managed WordPress Hosting offering, designed to give small businesses and entrepreneurs access to essential WordPress features and Starter Sites – including our new e-commerce template powered by WooCommerce.
We have also introduced a cleaner and feature-rich Control Panel, which offers a more convenient and efficient way of managing your account, collaborating with your team, and buying products.

We’ve updated our contact details For example, support@xneelo.com replaces support@hetzner.co.za. And note that your invoice will now say ‘xneelo’ instead of ‘Hetzner’. Our bank account number remains the same, so please be extra vigilant of phishing scams. Rest assured that our award-winning support will always be here to support you.
