What does ‘Unlimited Traffic’ mean?
It means that Hetzner does not impose a quota limit on traffic.

Does that mean that there are no limitations to the activities of my site?
No. Beyond traffic there are potential hardware limitations that affect about 0.05% of our customer base. However traffic, thanks to an ever decreasing cost, is no longer the first point of constraint, and therefore no longer metered.
To explain further, a web hosting server is shared by multiple customers. A shared server is a limited resource. While 99,95% of websites will exist comfortably in this environment, some websites are better suited to being hosted on a dedicated server. Should the latter be observed, we will contact the customer and suggest alternatives.
