PHP Compatibility Scanner

The PHP Compatibility Scanner is a tool that helps identify potential compatibility issues with the latest PHP versions.

Follow the steps below to scan your website for potential compatibility issues.

Steps

    Browse to the xneelo Control Panel and log in.
  • 2
    Select a Product (e.g. Web Hosting) from the side menu.
  • 3
    Select or search for the domain name.
  • 4
    Under Hosting Tools, select PHP Config.
  • 5
    Click on the Compatibility Scanner tab.
  • 6
    Select the PHP version you would like to check against and run the check.

What happens next

The Compatibility Scanner highlights potential compatibility issues. It does not guarantee that your website will work correctly after upgrading PHP.

If the status is unknown or compatibility is unclear:
  • Test your site on a staging environment using the target PHP version
  • Check key functionality (forms, login, checkout, plugins)
  • Share the report with your developer for review
  • Update plugins, themes, or custom code before upgrading your live site
Assist Note

If your result is “Incompatible” you may select Download CSV Report to download a compatibility report with detailed information.

We recommend that you share the compatibility report with your web developer, who will be able to interpret the report and make the necessary changes before upgrading.
