How to change Cache templates
Cache templates specify when and how content is cached by defining rules to identify unique requests. If the content is unique, it cannot be cached and is instead passed through. For example, pages are not cached once a user logs into a website or when an administrator accesses the CMS backend.
You can choose one of the following caching templates:
- WordPress: Optimised templates for WordPress will cache all pages except those related to admin functions, Ajax calls, or logged in users.
- WooCommerce: Optimised WooCommerce templates cache product pages briefly, while ignoring cart and checkout pages to avoid stale responses.
- Default (relaxed rules): This conservative approach excludes URLs with words like login, register, api, and admin, and is used when not relying on a CMS for optimisation.
