How to use the Linux Rescue system on your Self-Managed Server
The Linux Rescue system is used for administrating or repairing your system and data after a crash.
Steps

2Under Products in the side menu, select Self-Managed Servers.

3Click on the server you would like to access.

4On the Product Overview screen, click on the Linux Rescue System icon.

5Select Activate.

6Reboot your server within 10 minutes of performing this action.

7Once rebooted, your server will PXE boot and load the rescue system into memory.

8Log in with the username and password provided at activation time, either from the console or via SSH access.

9From inside the terminal, you can mount and access your server data or perform recovery operations.
To ensure the server boots via PXE into the Linux Rescue environment, please make sure that Network Boot is set as the first boot option in the BIOS, or manually select the Network Boot option during POST.
