How to access your browser’s password manager

Browsers usually save passwords against a specific website address. If the login page moves to a new URL, the browser may treat it as a different site and stop suggesting the saved credentials automatically. Updating the saved entry in the password manager allows autofill to work again on the new address.

Follow the steps for your specific browser below. You will be able to search, view, edit or delete saved passwords.


  • Google Chrome (Desktop)

      Open Chrome and click the menu button (⋮) in the top-right corner.

      Select Settings.

      In the left menu, click Autofill and passwords.

      Click Google Password Manager.

  • Google Chrome (Android/iOS)

      Open the Chrome app.

      Tap the menu button (…) in the bottom-right corner.

      Select Settings.

      Tap Password Manager.

      Enter your Mac password or use Touch ID if prompted.
