Isn’t xneelo infringing on freedom of speech with its take-down policy?

We are obliged to enforce the legal requirements outlined in the ECT Act. As a service provider, it is not our role to adjudicate the validity of a take-down request. Our role is simply to ensure that the process is adhered to.

We do understand that this mechanism (i.e. take-down notifications) is open to abuse by members of the public. This is beyond our or ISPA(Internet Service Providers Association)’s control. Xneelo is legally bound by the ECT Act, which would need to be repealed for the procedure to change.
