Compatible email clients
The email clients below are some of the widely used email applications that support TLS 1.2 or later and are compatible with our platform. We recommend using the latest supported version of your email application wherever possible.
- Microsoft Outlook 2016 or later
- Microsoft Outlook for Microsoft 365
- New Outlook for Windows
- Microsoft Outlook for Mac, current supported versions
- Microsoft Outlook for iOS and Android, current supported versions
- Mozilla Thunderbird 78 or later
- Apple Mail on currently supported versions of macOS
- Apple Mail on currently supported versions of iOS and iPadOS
- Gmail app for Android and iOS, current supported versions
- Samsung Email, current supported versions on supported Android devices
Support for email applications that use TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 will end on 7 December 2026. After this date, we will no longer provide support for these applications, and we recommend upgrading to a compatible email application that supports modern encryption standards.
