How to delete a Cloud volume snapshot

Note: This article relates to a product currently in beta testing.

A volume is a detachable block storage device that can be attached to an instance to provide extra storage space, much like connecting a USB drive. A volume snapshot is a point-in-time copy of a volume. You can use snapshots to roll a volume back to the state it was in at the time the snapshot was created.

Note: When deleting a volume snapshot all data stored on the snapshot will be permanently lost.

Steps

  • 1
Log in to your xneelo Cloud dashboard.
  • 2
Using the menu on the left, navigate to Storage > Snapshots.

On the right-hand side of the list of volumes click on the dropdown button in the Actions column.
  • 4

  • 5
Confirm that you want to delete the snapshot by clicking on Delete Volume Snapshot in the confirmation window.
