Enable SSH via the xneelo Control Panel

The information in this article is related to the new xneelo Control Panel.

SSH is a protocol that works much the same way as Telnet, creating a secure connection between two computers.

The secure SSH connection provides authentication and encryption to ensure that your password and all data sent and received during your sessions are kept safe.

Enable SSH on shared Web Hosting packages:

Contact us to enable/disable SSH access.

Enable SSH on Web Hosting packages on a Managed Server:

    Log in to the xneelo Control Panel.

    Under PRODUCTS in the side menu, select Managed Servers.

    Click the down arrow to the left of your server name.

    Select the domain you would like to enable SSH on.
  5. 5
    Under Hosting tools, you can set the Enable/Disable SSH access toggle to ON.
  6. 6
    Toggle the SSH access to OFF when you are ready to disable SSH access.
Assist Note

If you no longer need SSH access, you can switch it OFF once you’re done to prevent unauthorised access.
