Blacklist and Whitelist email

The konsoleH Black and Whitelist tools allow you to blacklist or whitelist email addresses.

All incoming emails are automatically scanned by a Spam Filter and are assigned a spam score. This score determines whether the message will be classified as spam. Xneelo’s standard filtering threshold is set at 5 (this score is adjustable). Any email that scores 5 or higher is classified as spam and is sent straight to the Spambucket. Any email that scores lower than 5 is allowed through to your inbox.

With the increasing volume of spam and the complexity of filtering algorithms and anti-spam software, it is inevitable that ‘false-positives’ will occur. In order to prevent this from taking place, konsoleH enables you to ‘whitelist’ email addresses for delivery, bypassing the spam filter and ensuring that all emails sent from the specified address will arrive in your inbox.

It is also possible to ‘blacklist’ an email address or all email addresses related to a specific domain. It is important to note that these emails will not be delivered and will be permanently deleted from our servers. You should only blacklist emails that you do not wish to receive.

Should there be a scenario where an email address is both whitelisted and blacklisted, whitelisting will take precedence and the email will therefore be delivered to your inbox.

Please note that there is a quota of 500 email addresses for both whitelisting and blacklisting. Should you exceed 500 addresses, you will first need to delete an email address before adding a new address to the black/whitelisting.
