Windows Server licenses for Self-Managed Servers
The Windows Server operating system is supported on our Self-Managed Servers, with additional license fees required. Windows Server licenses are available on a month-to-month basis.
Licenses:
Windows Operating System
- Windows Server Standard 2019 / 2022 / 2025
- Windows Datacenter 2019 / 2022 / 2025
Windows Remote Desktop License
Remote Desktop supports two concurrent connections for administrators to access the server.
If you require additional users to access the server, you will need to purchase a Remote Desktop License for each user.
Windows Virtual Machine (VM) Licenses
- Windows Server Standard offers a single VM license (Additional VM’s will each need an additional Windows Server Standard license)
- Windows Server Datacenter offers unlimited VMs
Note: These licenses apply per processor, therefore, each CPU will require a license. Windows 2019, 2022 and 2025 are licensed per core, so when an additional CPU is added, the number of cores increases, and an additional license is required.
License fees are available on our website. Contact our Server and Colocation team for any queries.
Windows Support
Our support is limited to the installation of the Operating System and licensing on standard server builds. If you experience any technical issues, refer to Microsoft’s Technet articles.
Customers need to adhere to Microsoft’s end-user agreement and the Microsoft Volume Licensing Services Provider Use Rights.
