Using Let’s Encrypt with Sucuri

Let’s Encrypt SSL/TLS is included and pre-installed for all our hosting packages, however, if you make use of the Sucuri proxy service, the Let’s Encrypt activation will fail.

In order to successfully install the SSL certificate, Sucuri customers should open a support ticket with Sucuri and ask them to “enable the Forward Certificate Validation to Hosting option for Let’s Encrypt SSL certificates for my domain (insert domain name).”

As Let’s Encrypt certificates are automatically renewed every 3 months, it is not feasible to make the required changes via the DNS Tool in konsoleH, but rather once off via Sucuri.
