How to create a snapshot of a Cloud instance

Note: This article relates to a product currently in beta testing.

A snapshot is a point-in-time copy of an instance in its current state including all of its data, operating system, and installed applications. Instance snapshots are frequently used for a variety of tasks, including backups, and testing. This article explains how to create a snapshot of an instance.

Steps

    Log in to your xneelo Cloud dashboard.

      Navigate to Compute > Instances.

        On the right-hand side of the list of instances click on the Create Snapshot button in the Actions column.

          In the dialog-box enter a name for the snapshot.
        2. 5
          Click on Create Snapshot to create the snapshot, or Cancel if you want to exit the process.
