How to delete a Cloud Security Group

Note: This article relates to a product currently in beta testing.

Security Groups are sets of IP filter rules that act as a virtual firewall for your instances to control ingress and egress traffic.

A Security Group’s deletion removes all associated rules and might have an impact on all resources to which it is attached.

Before proceeding, ensure there are no resources implementing the Security Group otherwise the deletion will fail.

Steps

    Log in to your xneelo Cloud dashboard.

    Using the menu on the left, navigate to Network > Security Groups.
  • 3
    Select the Security Group you want to delete by checking the box next to its name. You are able to delete multiple Security Groups at a time should you wish.

    Click on Delete Security Groups at the top-right of the page.
  • 5
    Confirm that you want to delete the Security Group by clicking on Delete Security Groups in the confirmation window.
