How to remove a Security Group from a Cloud instance

Note: This article relates to a product currently in beta testing.

Security Groups are sets of IP filter rules that act as a virtual firewall for your instances to control ingress and egress traffic. Removing a Security Group from an instance removes all its associated rules and will have an impact on the security of the instance it was attached to.

Before proceeding ensure there are no resources implementing the Security Group otherwise the deletion will fail.
