How to create a Hosting Only package via the xneelo Control Panel

The information in this article is related to the new xneelo Control Panel.
If you are still using konsoleH, refer to this article.

Your domain does not have to be administered by us in order for you to host your website and/or email with us.

If you wish to keep the registration of your domain with the current registrar or host, you can order a Hosting Only package.

Set up your Hosting Only package in two easy steps:


  • Step 1: Order a Hosting Only package

    1. Log in or sign up to the xneelo Control Panel.
    2. In the side menu, select + Add products. You’ll be directed to Our Offerings (New customers will be directed to the Product catalogue directly).
    3. Click on View in the Web Hosting card to view the package options.
    4. Choose the hosting package that meets your needs.
    5. Select your hosting location and click Continue.
    6. Select Only interested in hosting
    7. Enter the domain name (without the preceding www) and click Search.
    8. Follow the prompts to complete your order.





  • Step 2: Link the domain to the Hosting package

    Once the hosting account has been set up on our servers you have two options:

    • If you require us to host both your website and email, choose option A.
    • If you require us to host either your website or your email, choose option B.

     A. Update the Name Servers

    Request your current registrar or host to update the domain records with our name servers.

    In this way you will be able to manage your DNS via your control panel, should it be required.

    B. Point the relevant A–records to xneelo

    Update the DNS in your domain provider’s control panel to point the A–records to your xneelo IP address, or request that they do this for you.

    You will find the relevant IP address in your xneelo control panel.

    Note: This option does not allow you to manage your DNS via your control panel.



Assist Note

If the domain you have entered is not registered, you will be given the option to register the domain name.
