How to transfer your domain away via the xneelo Control Panel
If you are still using konsoleH, refer to this article.
To transfer a domain name to another provider, the domain will first need to be set for transfer via the xneelo Control Panel.
Follow the steps below to either cancel your hosting package and then transfer away or simply transfer your domain away if you do not have a hosting package.
Note: To prevent unwanted delays, identify which email address is responsible for approving the transfer request before the transfer is submitted by your new hosting provider.
Transfer domain only

Step 1: Set your domain for Transfer Away

Log in or sign up to the xneelo Control Panel.
- Under Products in the side menu, select Domains.
- Select the specific domain name.
- Under Advanced settings, click Transfer Away.
Important: If the Auto renew toggle is set to OFF, turn Auto renew to ON in order to continue to transfer away.
- Select a reason for transfer from the drop-down list. If ‘Other’ is selected, please provide your reasons before proceeding.
- Select the checkbox.
- One of the following options will be available depending on the domain extension you will be transferring:
- Transfer away for country code top-level domains (e.g., co.za or .org.za)
- Send Auth/EPP code if you are transferring a gTLD. Once this option is selected, an Auth/ EPP code will be emailed to the domain’s admin contact.
- Proceed to Step 2.
Important notice:
- If you have custom DNS records on the domain, ensure that you have a copy of these records as they will be deleted from our servers 30 days after xneelo has received your cancellation request.
- We are continually evolving and improving our services. Please remember to provide us with your reason(s) for cancellation, so we can proactively address any potential issues or problems.

Step 2: Transfer your domain name away from xneelo
Once your domain has been scheduled to transfer away from xneelo, your new hosting provider will be responsible for submitting the transfer request. They will provide you with the relevant information you’ll need to process the transfer via their control panel.
Transferring away .co.za & .org.za domains
- After submitting your cancellation via the xneelo Control Panel, your new host may now submit the transfer request.
- The Registrant will receive an email authorisation token (voting ticket) from the ZA Central Registry that is valid for 5 days. The Registrant needs to accept this token within 5 days.
Note: The Registrant is the contact listed as the domain owner at the Registry. If you do not know which email address is listed as the domain Registrant, please contact us. Only the domain Registrant may approve or decline the transfer request.
Transferring away international domains: .com, .org, .biz, .info, .cc, .co, .mobi, and .tv
- After submitting your cancellation via the xneelo Control Panel, an Authorisation Code will be emailed to the admin contact for the domain; this code will be essential at a later stage to accept the transfer request.
- Xneelo will unlock the domain at the Registrar which will allow the transfer to proceed.
- Your new host may now submit the transfer request – please contact them so that they may submit the transfer request.
- The request will be sent to the email address that you specify with your new host.
Transferring away .co.uk domains
- After submitting your cancellation via the xneelo Control Panel, an email will be sent to the Account Owner, requesting that the new hosting provider’s IPS TAG is sent to support@xneelo.com.
- On receipt, we’ll update the IPS TAG with our Registrar, and the domain transfer will complete within a few hours – with Whois records updating accordingly.
Transferring away .de and .eu domains
- An xneelo consultant will contact you with further instructions in order to proceed with the domain transfer.

Troubleshooting
Resend transfer code
To resend the Authorisation code to the domain’s Admin contact, follow these steps:

Log in to the xneelo Control Panel.
- Under Products in the side menu, select Domains.
- Select the specific domain name.
- Under Advanced Settings, select the 3 dots menu to the right of Domain Transfer.
- Click Resend code.
- The Authorisation code will be resent to the Admin contact.
Cancel Transfer
If you no longer wish to transfer the domain away from xneelo, follow the steps below:
- Log in to the xneelo Control Panel.
- Under Products in the side menu, select Domains.
- Select the specific domain name.
- Under Advanced Settings, select the 3 dots menu to the right of Domain Transfer.
- Click Cancel transfer.
- The domain will be reactivated on your account.
Registrant is not receiving the voting ticket
For ccTLDs (.co.za and .org.za)
Your new hosting provider is responsible for submitting the domain transfer request. Once submitted, the voting ticket will be sent to the email address listed as the current Registrant. Contact us if you would like to know which email address is listed as the Registrant.
Note: This information can only be provided to the authorised contacts listed on the xneelo account.
For gTLDs (international domains)
Your new hosting provider is responsible for submitting the domain transfer request if you are transferring a gTLD. Once submitted, the voting ticket will be sent to the email address listed as the new Registrant. This is the only email address authorised to accept the transfer.

Cancel hosting and transfer domain away

Step 1: Set your domain for Transfer Away

Log in or sign up to the xneelo Control Panel.
- Select a Product (e.g. Web Hosting) from the side menu.
- Select or search for the specific domain name.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and under Advanced, click Cancel package.
- Select Cancel Web Hosting and transfer domain away from the cancellation option drop-down list.
- Select a reason for transfer from the drop-down list. If ‘Other’ is selected, please provide your reasons before proceeding.
- Select the checkbox.
- Click Confirm.
- Proceed to Step 2.
Important notice:
- The date on which your package will be deleted from our server will be displayed under Advanced. This date will be 30 days after you’ve requested cancellation.
- Back up your website content, email, and custom DNS records as these will be permanently deleted 30 days after cancellation.
