How to enable or disable mail

The information in this article is related to konsoleH.
If you are using our new Control Panel, refer to this article.

Make the switch and discover a simpler, more secure way to manage your hosting.

Each hosting package includes a mail service. If you do not require this service as your mail is hosted elsewhere, you may disable mail via konsoleH.  By doing so, you will no longer be able to access your email via the Mail Manage Accounts tool within konsoleH.

To enable/ disable the mail service via konsoleH:

1. Browse to konsoleH and log in at Admin level
2. If Admin level: Select or search for a domain name in the Hosting Services tab
3. Select Mail from the left-hand menu.
4. Select Enable/Disable Mail.
5. Select either Enable or Disable

Note: When disabling the mail service, it is recommended that you verify that your domain’s mail DNS records are correctly pointing to the external mail host. You may use an online tool such as MXToolBox to test your domain’s mail DNS records.

The mail service can be enabled again at any point. Ensure that you have set your mail record to point back to our server by updating your DNS records via the Manage DNS tool
