How to adjust your Spam Filter Score via the xneelo Control Panel

The information in this article is related to the new xneelo Control Panel.
If you are still using konsoleH, refer to this article.

All incoming emails to our servers are evaluated for their likelihood of being spam and given a rating based on certain criteria. Our Spam Filter threshold is ‘5’ by default, but it’s possible to adjust the threshold value using the Spam Filter tool.

  • 1
Log in to the xneelo Control Panel.
  • 2
Select a Product from the side menu.
  • 3
    Select the domain name.
  • 4
Scroll down to the Mail tools.
  • 5
    Select the Spam Filter.
  • 6
    Click Edit.
  • 7
Select the new score from the drop-down list of values.
  • 8
    Click Save.

What happens next

The spam level changes have now been saved. Please note that the higher the threshold value, the more likely Spam will be delivered to your inbox. The lower the threshold, the less Spam will be delivered to your inbox.

Assist Note

A ‘1’, ‘2’ or ‘3’ threshold value is an aggressive Spam score.

Assist Tip

We recommend that the threshold value remains ‘5’. Regularly check the Spambucket to identify any ‘False Positives’.
