How to point a domain to a Managed WordPress website

Steps

  Log in to the xneelo Control Panel.

  Under Products in the side menu, select Managed WordPress.

  Click on your website name.

  Under Domains, select Attach domain.

  Select Use a domain I own with another provider and click Continue.

  Enter your domain name and click Attach.

  Read the instructions and copy the DNS records.

  Log in to your DNS provider's dashboard and update the domain’s DNS records to match those provided by xneelo:

  • Update the A record with the IP Address provided
  • Create a CNAME record, replacing the value with your domain name

  When your DNS record is updated, click on Ready to Attach to complete the domain attachment. Note: DNS updates can take some time depending on your provider. You can come back to this page at any time to complete the domain attachment by simply clicking the Attach the Domain button on the WordPress Product Overview screen.
