Updates to Volume Plan Hosting
To better support your growing needs, we’re increasing the disk space from 50 GB to 75 GB. We’re also introducing tiered pricing for disk space to eliminate unexpected over-usage charges. For example, should you exceed the disk space quota for Tier 1, you will automatically be upgraded to Tier 2. If you’re on Tier 4 and exceed the 1100 GB disk space quota, we will charge you an over-usage fee of R10 /GB.
In addition, both Volume Plan SA and DE now offer unlimited traffic.
Previous Volume Plan details:
Product Disk space quota Price (includes VAT) Over-usage Volume Plan SA & DE 50 GB R595 R200 per additional 1-50 GB New tiered pricing & quotas:
Volume Plan SA & DE Disk space quota Price (includes VAT) Tier 1 <75 GB R699 Tier 2 76 – 200 GB R1299 Tier 3 201 – 500 GB R1899 Tier 4 501 – 1100 GB R2199 Your monthly price for the Volume Plan service may vary as you will be invoiced according to your actual usage. For example, should your disk usage in September exceed 201 GB, you will be invoiced the Tier 3 cost in your October invoice.
Note: Changes to Web Hosting package quotas will take effect on the Volume Plan. We recommend reviewing the changes to our Web Hosting packages, as adjustments to disk space quotas may affect your current setup.
