Transition from konsoleH to xneelo Control Panel FAQs

Xneelo is moving to a single, purpose-built platform: the xneelo Control Panel. Designed for simplicity, security, and accessibility, it better supports the needs of all our customers.

In this FAQ, we answer some of the questions you may have regarding this transition.

General Transition & Timeline

  • When will konsoleH be switched off?

The process is happening in phases. We are currently notifying customers about the change. Right now we ask you to start the transition and move your activities to the xneelo Control Panel before access to konsoleH is fully disabled.

Please note some features, such as the editing of Manage Contacts, have been removed from konsoleH as part of the migration, and we encourage you to start using the xneelo Control Panel as soon as possible.

Migration Process

  • How do I migrate my account to the xneelo Control Panel?

Sign up for the xneelo Control Panel with the same email address you currently use to log in to konsoleH. This ensures your existing products and services appear automatically in the xneelo Control Panel.

There is no waiting period. As soon as you create your xneelo Control Panel profile using your konsoleH login email, your products are synced and ready for use.

  • What happens if my products don't appear in the xneelo Control Panel after profile creation?

If you don’t see your products in the xneelo Control Panel, it could be due to using a different email address or a technical issue.

    • Make sure you sign up using the exact email address associated with your konsoleH login.
    • If it was due to a technical issue, it might correct itself after some time. Try to log back in to the xneelo Control Panel in a few minutes.
    • If your products still didn’t appear in the xneelo Control Panel, please contact our support team for help verifying your account details and ensuring a smooth migration.

  • What if I manage a large number of products or a high-volume account?

The process is just as simple, whether you manage one product or hundreds. Your entire customer account will sync automatically once your profile is created. If you have a complex setup and would like a guided transition, our support team is ready to assist you.

You will, however, need to add your account contacts as Collaborators in the xneelo Control Panel.

Contacts vs. Collaborators

  • What is the difference between konsoleH contacts and the xneelo Control Panel Collaborators?

“Contacts” in konsoleH is a list of people that are authorised on your account or domain. It will be replaced by “Collaborators” in the xneelo Control Panel. Collaborators is a roles and access management solution, providing a secure way to manage access to the Control Panel, and allows you to choose between different roles with predefined permissions for each person you invite. Each Collaborator will also be authorised for support specific to the role they were assigned.

Please note: Contacts from konsoleH will not be automatically migrated. You will need to invite your Collaborators directly from within the xneelo Control Panel.

  • Why won't my konsoleH contacts automatically migrate to the xneelo Control Panel?

The xneelo Control Panel uses a more advanced security and permissions model, giving you greater control over who can access your account and domains. Manually adding your Collaborators allows you to review and assign the specific roles and permissions that best fit your current needs. Collaborators must create their own profile so each user can securely manage and control their own login credentials.

  • Will my contacts continue to receive communications from xneelo?

Automated communications will move from konsoleH contacts to the xneelo Control Panel Collaborators during the transition. Set up your Collaborators in the xneelo Control Panel promptly to avoid any interruptions.

  • I'm a reseller. How do I give my customers access?

You can assign your customer the Technical Collaborator (Specific products) role for now. We are currently reviewing this capability and things might change in the future.

  • I'm a reseller. What will be different in the way I interact with my customers using Collaborators?

With the Collaborators model, your customers no longer access the Control Panel via shared or konsoleH Domain Level access.  Instead, they are invited to your account and assigned the “Technical Administrator (Specific products)” role for only the products you choose.

    What changes:

    • You control access via invitations
You invite customers using their email address and decide exactly which products they can access.
    • Each customer creates their own login
They accept the invitation and set up their own user account to gain access to the specific products you assigned.
    • Improved security
Every customer has their own username, password and 2FA – no shared credentials.
    • Clear separation of access
Customers only see and manage the products you’ve granted them access to.

    What stays the same:

    • You remain responsible for supporting your customers.
    • Your commercial relationship does not change.
    • Billing and ownership remain on your account.

This is a more secure and structured way to grant product-level access.

Changes to Domain-Level Access

  • What is changing?

Users who currently log in to konsoleH using their domain name and password will not be able to use those same credentials to access the xneelo Control Panel.

To access the domain in the xneelo Control Panel, these users will need their own unique login credentials and must be added as a Technical Collaborator by the owner of the account or an account administrator.

  • Why is this change happening?

    We are improving:

    • Security
    • Access control per individual

Shared or domain-level access without individual credentials will no longer be supported.

What are the benefits of this change?

    • No shared passwords
    • Better security
    • A person’s access can easily be revoked by the Account Owner or someone with similar permissions

  • I am not the Account Owner. What must I do?

    1. 1
Ask the Account Owner to invite you as a Collaborator on their account, with access granted specifically to your product(s). Provide the Account Owner with the email address you would like the invitation to be sent to.
    2. 2
You will receive an invitation via email.
    3. 3
On accepting this invitation, you will be guided to the xneelo Control Panel to create your own login credentials that you will use going forward whenever logging into the xneelo Control Panel.
    4. 4
These credentials will give you access to your own account with xneelo as well as the account you’ve been invited to.

  • How does the Account Owner add a Technical Collaborator?

    1. 1
Log in to the Control Panel.
    2. 2
Under TOOLS in the side menu, select Collaborators.
    3. 3
Click Invite on the Collaborators management screen.
    4. 4
Enter the email address of the user you wish to invite.
    5. 5
Select the role you are inviting.
    6. 6
      Click Next.
    7. 7
When adding a Technical Administrator for specific products, you will be prompted to select the exact product and service that this Collaborator should have access to.

  • I manage several domains. Do I need multiple logins?

If you manage domains across multiple accounts, you only need one login – as long as Collaborator access is granted to the same email address you use to sign in. After logging in, you can easily switch between accounts using the Switch Account feature

Each domain owner will need to add you as a Technical Collaborator.

  • I am the Account Owner. Do I need to do anything?

    If you:

    • Currently share login details with developers or agencies
    • Use generic domain-level access

    You should:

    • Stop sharing credentials
    • Add each person as a Technical Collaborator instead

This improves security and protects your account.

Support & Troubleshooting

  • What if I can't log in to konsoleH anymore?

Once konsoleH access is disabled, attempting to log in will automatically guide you to create or access your xneelo Control Panel profile.

  • Do I use my konsoleH Management Password to log in to the xneelo Control Panel?

No. When you sign up for the xneelo Control Panel, you will create a new, secure profile password. Your old konsoleH management password will not work here. You will also be required to enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) in the xneelo Control Panel for added security.

  • Can I still see my past invoices in the xneelo Control Panel?

Yes. Once you’ve migrated, you can view and download your invoices under the ‘Payment Details’ section.

  • Will my website or email experience downtime during this move?

No. Moving from konsoleH to the xneelo Control Panel is an administrative transition, not a server migration. There is no DNS propagation or downtime involved.
