Our backup service

We provide a backup service for all Web Hosting packages and Managed Servers. 

For Self-Managed Servers, we do not perform content backups. Self-Managed Servers customers have the ability to store a backup copy of important data using the File Storage tool. 

Please note:

• Our backups are intended for emergency situations.
• You should not rely on our backups as the only copy of your content.

Web Hosting & Managed Servers

Incremental backups are processed daily. This means that you can access the most recent backup of your website content by using the Restore Backup tool and selecting the time-stamp of the backup you wish to restore. These backups are kept for 2 weeks.

Self-Managed Servers

Xneelo does not maintain backups of content on Self-Managed Servers. We are therefore unable to restore content should it be required. This is due to the nature of Self-Managed Servers, which grant you full control and responsibility over your data.

All Self-Managed Server customers may make use of File Storage to safely and conveniently store a backup copy of important data. File Storage provides a Self-Managed customer with 100 GB of storage space on a remote storage server.

Please note that File Storage shouldn’t be relied on as a primary data source.
