Making website changes
-
If I make a mistake on my site, can I roll back the changes?
Yes. An initial backup is created when you start a new trial and daily backups can be scheduled to run automatically. You can also create a new backup at any time. To roll back changes, access your most recent backups and restore the version of your choice. You can also give your backup(s) a custom name, making them easy to identify.
-
Can I change my website and who can I talk to if I break something?
You have complete freedom to create your own website. When making big changes, we recommend creating an instant backup first, just in case you break something and need to roll back the changes. If you’ve attached a domain to your website and it’s live, we recommend using your staging site to test out big changes first. But don’t worry – if you need help restoring a backup of your website, or creating a staging site, our Support team is always available to assist.
Moving your website
-
Will I be able to move my WordPress website from shared hosting to Managed WordPress Hosting?
Website migration support is currently not available but we plan to have a solution that
will support WordPress website migrations in the near future.
-
What will happen to my website if I decide to move to another web hosting provider?
If you decide to leave xneelo, you can download a backup of your WordPress website by using a plugin such as Duplicator. Duplicator makes it easy to migrate, copy, move or clone a site from one location to another.Note: If you download a backup of your WordPress website using xneelo’s backup tool, work will be required to import the backup when changing providers. Plugins such as Duplicator allow you to move your website without the assistance of a developer.
